More About Myself...

A little more about me, I am a graphic design major at Millersville University, and hopefully set up to graduate December 2015 (did I mention HOPEFULLY?) Below you can see a list of my process blogs for the classes I have taken so far that you can click through, as well as the wordpress process blog my partner and I worked on for our final Motion design project, which is an Explainer video for the organization, Music for Relief (started by my favorite band Linkin Park!). I am currently in the process of creating a portfolio for my other printed works as well as everything else, such as my menu from back in Typography class to the game board I recently designed for my 3D Design class.

Hello!

Hello all! Since this is my first post, I'd like to say why I made this blog and how it got it's name. First of all, I am in color guard at Millersville University, and at the end of the season last year we were each handed out "Paper Plate Awards," and I just happened to get the Secretly Silly Award, because of all the funny posts I put on Facebook but I'm normally quiet in public. It took me about a year until I realized, "Hey, why not make a  blog based on how hilarious I am?" Truth is, I am a shy, quiet person until you really get to know me, and never thought of myself as being silly. Funny thing, I was voted class Introvert out of the whopping 80-somethin people in my graduating class, and they forgot to put me and the other guy's picture in the yearbook for that category! Since graduating in 2011, I have become a bit more outgoing, but still enjoy quiet time by myself. I hate massive crowds of people, and tend to get a bit frustrated upon being in the middle of them. I'm more comfortable around a smaller group of people, and even more comfortable when it's just me and 1 or two other people, or just being by myself. When I'm by myself, I tend to get more work done and have time to really think.

The Ginger part of the name is simply because I'm a ginger! So expect a few ginger puns to be posted on here. I've heard them all, even fiery red-headed jokes, so not much is new to me haha. I embrace my gingerness (not a word, but it sounds cool!), and all of the good and unfortunate qualities that we have. For example, we turn red as lobsters when exposed to sunlight for not even an hour, and almost NEVER tan. You will find more about me from the things I post, so no need to go off on more of a tangent...

So, welcome to my blog, feel free to come and go as you please. I just ask for no hatred or negativity. As I like to say: "Negativity is a virus, don't spread it!"
